After wait of 3 long weeks, the Formula 1 race weekend is finally here for the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix. Though nothing of much interest has happened during these 3 weeks, except the great Kimi-dilemma and 3 day testing session where all teams, except Spyker, participated.

Say goodbye to Traction Control in 2008
March 30, 2007
The FIA has came out with lots of changes for 2008 season. Of all the changes that is high profile is banning of Traction Control from next year. Which means, next year the top speed of cars will definitely come down and there would be more spectacular sights at cornering.
Australian Grand Prix - Race Summary
March 20, 2007
And Kimi Raikkonen takes the chequered flag at 2007 ING Australian Grand Prix. Reigning champion Fernando Alonso finished second in his McLaren, followed by the rookie [and Fernando's teammate] Lewis Hamilton walking on the podium in his debut race.
If you thought Formula 1 racing were boring, think again. The race can’t get any more interesting and spectacular, with David Coulthard deciding to take “Aerial Route” literally on Alex Wurz. With Heikki Kovalainen thinking of Albert Park as Park, in literal sense, and driving his Renault in grass quiet a few times. With Takuma Sato finishing ahead of Jenson Button but behind Reubens Barrichello. With Felipe Massa managing to finish at 6th place after starting from 21st place on the grid [and thus proving my predictions for grid positions wrong]. With Williams managing to finish ahead of both of the Toyota’s.
Let’s look at what happened in some details.

New Honda not on the pace - Button
February 23, 2007
“We’re not on the pace of the top teams, which is disappointing,” Jenson Button told the Daily Mail, he addedd “The positive thing is that there’s a lot more (car development) coming in Bahrain.”
Brackley based Honda launched the ‘RA107′ amid renewed promises of a title challenge, but so far it has not featured regularly near the top of the winter times. Button, 27, was third quickest at Bahrain on Thursday but later spent time at the side of the circuit with a broken throttle.
Hmm .. should we say so much for the another promising year from Honda ?? Or we’ll give then benefit-of-doubt and wait till the season starts with Australian Grand Prix.
