Pedro de la Rosa says McLaren rookie Lewis Hamilton’s big crash last week is a “blow” to the Woking team

“We have lost several days right in the middle of the preseason,” Pedro de la Rosa said, “so we must recover quickly. The important thing is that Lewis is fine and I am sure he will recover from the fright. But it is of course not a good thing that he is not out there with Fernando (at Valencia). He will have to work doubly hard when the car is ready.”

A setback for sure, but going by the pace Alonso is setting, we don’t think McLaren would be too worried about it.
